Terms of Service
Last updated: April 26, 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to the OctoBot Labs website, the AI Workflow Risk Scorecard, scorecard-related communications, and paid mini-audit, audit, implementation, or monitoring services agreed with OctoBot Labs.
OctoBot Labs is operated by Dirk Mischke, a sole proprietor in Germany.
2. Scorecard
The scorecard is a lightweight self-assessment. It is intended to help identify potential risk areas in AI agents, MCP servers, and automation workflows. It is not a certification, penetration test, legal assessment, compliance audit, or guarantee of security.
3. Services
Paid services, including audits and implementation support, are only provided after scope, price, timeline, and deliverables have been agreed in writing. Unless agreed otherwise, services are delivered remotely and asynchronously.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining backups, protecting production systems, and deciding which recommendations to implement.
Do not send passwords, API keys, private customer records, confidential payloads, or other secrets unless a separate secure exchange process has been agreed.
5. No legal or compliance advice
OctoBot Labs provides practical workflow review and technical remediation support. We do not provide legal advice, tax advice, formal compliance certification, or regulatory assurance.
6. Intellectual property
OctoBot Labs retains ownership of its website, scorecard, templates, methods, and general know-how. Clients retain ownership of their own systems, data, workflows, and materials.
7. Limitation of liability
OctoBot Labs is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to foreseeable, typical damages. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, or business interruption is excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected where applicable.
9. Changes
We may update these terms when the offer, website, or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies from the date shown above.
